Yada yada yada

I realize I haven't been so good about updating this thing. I will try to get better! Let see in the most recent news Justin found out that as of December 31st he will no longer be employed by Cellular Express. So that means the job hunt is on. Prayers are great! Pray that I am not a nagging wife about getting the resume finished!

Christmas is coming and Kyla has already halfway unwrapped one of her presents. She likes the paper a whole lot! She is 7 months old! OH MY! I will include a pic or two of her in case you are having withdrawls.

I am blessed! I do not know what else to say!

I really want to be more crafty! I really want to scrapbook!! I want sunshine so I can take pictures again!! I got a flash for my birthday, I am digging it!

It is nice and quiet here, Kyla is asleep, Justin is asleep.. I am pretty much sitting in the dark looking at my christmas tree and my fish tank! Life is great!

I would like to open an etsy but would not know what to sell. My mom should open one... she is amazing!

This year has been full of surprises for me. But all the while God has reminded me that He is working things out for His own glory.

It is hard to stay in the word and be a parent! How do you do it? What does it mean to model Godliness to your children? What and how are family devotions working in your lives?

We rented Amazing Grace on DVD and I am excited to watch it again (saw it in theaters) but we get home so late!!

I am going to St. Louis next week to meet my mom for a few nights! That will be fun! Hope the weather cooperates.

I realize it has been awhile since I have changed up my feet picture but do you know how hard it is to get pictures of her feet? HARD! I will try soon!

Content in my skin...

Tonight as I was driving I caught myself attempting to turn myself into someone else... in my mind I was saying things like "I should dress a certain way, I should drink coffee more because it is sophisticated, I want to be trendy..." ya see where this is going. And I realized I am not being content in who God has created me to be! I am uniquely me and you cannot be me and so therefore I should stop trying to be you! RIGHT?!?

So why is that so hard for me to do? I am not against bettering myself for the sake of Christ but I so often better myself just to be better! So instead of focusing so much on what I want to be I should focus on who God has created me to be and who He is in my life.

So this is my call for help... help me to be content in my skin!

In other news I am dry! I have been in a rut that feels like it is only getting deeper. I need to pick up the Word and spend some good time with my heavenly Father and yet I neglect it for the 'more important' things! I suppose they really are more important if that is what my time is spent on! So pray for me, encourage me, hold me accountable! Thank you!

About Me Section

I am working on my webpage. What do you think of this for my about me section? You grammar buffs out there help me out!



There is more than looking through a lens and snapping a shot. For me photography is capturing a moment in time. A moment that can continually be relived through a photograph. I have always had a passion for photography and my desire has increased with the birth of my daughter. My passion has lead me to take a leap into a profession. I am just starting out and seeking to build my portfolio, therefore; the savings will be past on to you!

I am an on location, natural light photographer. We will meet at a location of your choosing (I have some suggestions if you are stumped) and I will take my time to get to know you and your family. Then we will have a great time making memories that your family can cherish forever.

Other than a photographer I am a christian, wife and mother and love every minute of it! A few of my favorite things include: sunshine, flip flops, chap stick, ink pens, and cherry ICEE's!!
